DV meets Josh.

21 Oct

I really like most things Dolce Vita is doing these days with their boots. I did purchase the “Prince” boots by DV and I practically wear them every other day. I’m not totally in love with all their recent styles, but I believe they are on the rite track. When I saw the DV “Josh Buckled Boot” (above), I was immediately intrigued. They fall into the category of things I usually fall for; leather ankle boots, with some sort of tie, strap, or closure down the front. Bottom line, I think there cute. Check them out at Shopnastygal.com!

Fall is quickly approaching. Time to start shopping for the necessities; jackets, boots, sweaters and more. It’s important to buy a few staple pieces early in the fall and add gradually as the weather gets cooler. One piece I feel is good to have in your wardrobe for the fall is the classic trench coat. The Twisted Trench Coat in khaki, featured on ShopNastyGal.com for $118 is a perfect option. I like this specific trench coat because of the classic khaki color and traditional double breasted detail. I like this jacket because it’s short, lightweight, and has a youthful appeal. I think it would look best paired with something of a similar length, like a dress or skirt, or with a tall pair of riding boots! Check it out here now!

The Sun Gods.

9 Jul

Everyone should praise The Sun Gods, and Karen Walker for that matter for creating her Fall 2010, sun glasses collection. This 35 piece collection ranges in a plethora of shapes and sizes from small to large, and she features both circular and rectangular shaped frames. The first time I saw Karen Walker frames, I was on one of my favorite websites, Shopnastygal.com (not to mention, they are straight out of Emeryville, CA) and I immediately fell in love. Karen Walker definitely provides great options for both for both men and women!

My favorite pic from the collection would have to be the Tortoise frames, with the funky geometric shape at the top (last picture below). Tortoise has always been a default option for me.  It’s a neutral pattern and can be paired with either black or brown shoes! This collection was released in stores in mid February 2010. To take a closer look, visit Karenwalkereyewear.com
